The Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) is the main international airport of India, located in New Delhi. It is one of the busiest airports in the country and handles a large number of domestic and international flights every day. To make travelling through the airport easier and more convenient for passengers, the IGIA has recently introduced several new services and facilities. 1. FastTrack Pick-up at Arrivals Lane 1
To provide an efficient pick-up service to its customers, the IGIA has launched the FastTrack Pick-up service at Arrivals Lane 1. This facility allows customers to book their pick-up in advance and get it done quickly without any hassle. The service can be booked by calling 8800493889.
2. Delhi – Airport Express Link
The Metro stations at T3 connects to the City on a 22.7-km-long Delhi – Airport Express Link. This link provides a fast and comfortable journey from the airport to Central New Delhi railway station. The service runs every 20 minutes from 5 am to 11 pm daily.
3. Terminal 3 Operations
Terminal 3 of the IGIA is used for all international flights. Gate numbers 4,5 and 6 are dedicated for international flights while gate numbers 1,2 and 3 are used for domestic flights operated by Vistara Airlines and Air India. Some Indigo Airlines flights have also been moved to Terminal 3 due to ongoing airport expansion works.
4. Car Parking Options
The IGIA offers two types of car parking options – multi-level carpark near Terminal 3 and ground level car parks at Terminals 1 and 2. Both types of car parks offer ample space for both short term and long term parking.
