Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) is a major gateway to Asia and one of the busiest airports in the world. To get from HKG to Regal Kowloon Hotel, Hong Kong there are several transportation options available. In this article we will cover four of these options: Airport Express (MTR), Cityflyer Bus Service, Tung Chung Line to Kowloon Station, and Airport Shuttle Bus to Hotel.
1. Airport Express (MTR):
The most convenient way to travel from the airport to downtown is by taking the Airport Express (MTR). The Airport Express operates every 20 minutes and tickets cost between $95 – $120 for the 23 minute journey.
2. Cityflyer Bus Service:
Cityflyer operates a bus from Airport Ground Transportation Centre to Middle Road every 20 minutes. Tickets cost $30 – $45 and the journey takes 1h 14m.
3. Tung Chung Line to Kowloon Station:
To take the Tung Chung Line to Kowloon Station you must first take the Airport Express to Tsing Yi Station which takes 20 minutes and costs HKD 70. Then transfer to the Tung Chung Line and get off at Kowloon Station which takes 25 minutes and costs HKD10.4.
4. Airport Shuttle Bus to Hotel:
If you would like to go directly to your hotel, then an Airport Shuttle Bus may be the best option. It takes 40-50 minutes and costs HKD 140/150. Most buses operate from 07:00 to 23:00 with an interval of 30 min while some operate from11:00 to 17:00.
